Job summary

Suburban Inns is seeking a Breakfast Server to join our fast-paced, high-energy banquet and dining team in a live hotel environment. The role involves assisting in service, setup, and cleanup of banquet functions while maintaining guest satisfaction and adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include guest interactions, menu knowledge, proper service delivery, and coordination with supervisors to ensure timely, accurate meals. Hours include weekends with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret / extract information and perform arithmetic functions.
• Good communication skills.
• TIPS or ServSafe Certification required

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of banquet rooms before, during and after events.
• Provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced banquet environment.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and service ware, and ensure proper plating and garnishing.
• Ensure proper ID and responsible alcohol service following guidelines.
• Carry large and heavy trays safely throughout shifts.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
