Compass Group USA, located at Marcel - 945 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10021, is hiring for a full-time BREAKFAST SERVER ASSISTANT. Shifts run 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with weekend availability required; online applications are accepted.

Prior fine dining experience is required for consideration. As part of Restaurant Associates, you will support servers in dining room setup, deliver orders, and maintain proper presentation and temperatures per HACCP standards.

Job Summary

Summary:Assists servers with various dining room activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.
• Delivers orders to the table. Busses table.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
  • The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
  • The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
  • The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
