Job summary

Snooze Boulder is seeking a Prep Cook for our bustling breakfast restaurant. You will be responsible for food preparation, quality control, and high-volume kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least 1 year in a restaurant, ability to lift 50 pounds, and standing for long periods. County food/safety certifications must be obtained before employment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry.
• 1 year preferred in a high-volume restaurant.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes.
• Familiar with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation basics.
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives and kitchen equipment.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work stations during and after service.
• Follows opening/closing checklists and health department standards.
