Job summary

Parma City School District Pleasant Valley Elementary School in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Breakfast Monitor to supervise students during breakfast and support a safe, orderly start to the school day. The role reports to the Building Principal and is a full-time position located on-site at Pleasant Valley Elementary.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, enjoy working with children, and possess basic clerical skills.

Job Description

Reports To: Building Principal

Salary: $13.95 starting hourly wage

Schedule: 1.25 hours per day

Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must like and get along with children, (i.e.. possess good parenting skills)
• Ability to apply behavior techniques in enforcing school discipline in an appropriate context
• Perform some clerical functions
• Good physical health and the ability to work outdoors during inclement weather

Notice: House Bill 190 mandates that we request check of BCI & FBI records regardless of how long an employee has resided in Ohio. This means all new employees must pay a total of $48.00 for fingerprinting.
