Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a café, diner, or restaurant setting.
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
• Availability for morning and midday shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly, welcoming manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly with accurate presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of the breakfast and lunch menu and daily specials.
• Monitor guest needs and provide attentive tableside service.
• Process payments and reconcile end-of-shift receipts.
• Keep the dining area clean and well set between seatings.
