Hazel Park School District is seeking a part-time Breakfast, Lunch, and Recess Paraprofessional for United Oaks Elementary in Hazel Park. The role is ten months, not to exceed 15 hours weekly, with a schedule per the Master Agreement.

Requirements include a high school diploma, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle interruptions and diverse backgrounds while maintaining confidentiality and district best interests.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good public relations skills.
• Good attendance record.
• Ability to work around interruptions.
• Ability to work with a variety of backgrounds.
• Ability to communicate with teachers, pupils, parents and the public with friendliness and poise.
• Ability to pursue and secure non-compliant, runaway students.

Mansioni

• Supervise students at breakfast and lunch, circulate around cafeteria tables.
• Supervise students outside or inside during breakfast and lunch recess.
• Supervise students returning to class.
• Assist with other breakfast and lunch assistants' responsibilities as needed.
• Complete student accident reports as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of work related information.
• Perform all assigned tasks promptly and professionally.
• Act in the best interest of the school district.
