Good Evans Breakfast & Lunch is seeking a dedicated Cook for our Lincoln location (Pine Lake Road). You will prepare breakfast and lunch items, help ensure timely service, and contribute to an attractively presented menu. The role emphasizes cleanliness and quality in a busy kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates will have proven cooking experience, strong stamina, and a food hygiene certificate. A culinary arts background and solid time management/communication skills are preferred for success

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook.
• Ability to follow sanitation procedures.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina.
• High level of creativity and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field and/or relevant coursework.
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for menu items.
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
• Check food while it is cooking to ensure quality.
• Ensure great presentation by arranging and garnishing food before serving.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Check quality of ingredients.
