Job summary

LBA Hospitality in Jacksonville is seeking a Breakfast Host to deliver prompt, friendly service in the breakfast area and ensure a clean, guest-ready space that starts guests’ day positively.

You will help guests with questions, stay knowledgeable about menu items and hotel services, support food prep and safety, and work collaboratively with the hotel team on-site in Florida.

Qualifications

• Previous food & beverage experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handling certification preferred.
• Friendly, service-focused, dependable, and able to multitask.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the breakfast/dining area and supplies in a guest-ready condition.
• Provide friendly, professional service and assist guests with food, beverage, and hotel-related questions.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverage selections, hotel services, and brand standards.
• Monitor food and supplies and assist with food preparation and storage as needed.
• Clean and restock the breakfast area at the end of each shift.
• Maintain required safety, sanitation, security, and emergency procedures.
• Complete required brand documentation.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and work effectively as part of the hotel team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, stretch, and reach.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs. unassisted.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
• Must have scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays.
