Primary Responsibilities
  1. Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar in an attractive, organized, clean and standardized presentation.
  2. Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day.
  3. Ordering or purchasing food supplies.
  4. Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee and juices.
  5. Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other products.
  6. Setting out/arranging cold food such as sweet rolls, muffins and cereal.
  7. Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
  8. Wiping up spills.
  9. Removing trash.
  10. Restocking self-service food and supplies as needed.
  11. Washing serving equipment and returning it to storage.
  12. Returning reusable food supplies to storage.
  13. Vacuuming & sweeping carpets & floors.
  14. Mopping floors.
  15. Dusting, brushing, polishing, & vacuuming furniture.
  16. Dusting & cleaning room decorations, appliances, & structural surfaces (e.g. wall fixtures, window sills, vents, etc.) using appropriate cleaners designated by immediate supervisor.
  17. Inspecting areas for safety hazards & operating conditions of equipment.
  18. Reporting lost & found articles, maintenance problems (common areas) to your immediate supervisor and maintenance.
  19. Providing excellent guest service.
  20. Wearing proper clothing based on company policy and brand standard including non-slip shoes.
  21. Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
  1. One year hostess experience in restaurant is required.
  2. Prior hospitality experience preferred.
  3. Customer Service experience.
  4. Knowledge of health department standards of food sanitation and safety practices.
