Job summary

Staybridge Suites Chattanooga Downtown Convention Center is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to support guest-focused service in a bustling hotel setting. You will keep the breakfast area welcoming, clean tables, and ensure the buffet is stocked with fresh items.

The role emphasizes cleanliness, teamwork, following brand guidelines, and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Prior hospitality experience is preferred; a positive attitude and strong guest service are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must be effective at listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving issues.
• Must convey information clearly.
• Must have a desire to serve all guests.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time, unless otherwise directed by your immediate supervisor.Neverwork while off the clock.
• Clock in/out for breaks at the designated time on your schedule.
• Provide sufficient notice as directed by your supervisor when calling out for a scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Clear and sanitize breakfast room tables after each guest departure.
• Set up breakfast buffet area according to hotel directive.
• Fully clean kitchen after the breakfast period.
• Follow daily food safety measures per local health codes.
• Keep buffet area stocked and clean until the end of the breakfast period.
