Job summary

Embassy Suites Seattle Bellevue is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to ensure guests enjoy a quality dining experience and stay energized during their travels. You will prepare items for the buffet, handle requests with a friendly, attentive service style, and help maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.

Qualified candidates will have basic reading/writing skills, may need a Food Handler’s Permit, and should be able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous food handling or fast food experience is preferred.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Permit; Alcohol Server’s Permit may be required.
• Must be able to stand and move for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet.
• Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
• Proactively greet guests with eye contact and a warm greeting.
• Wash dishes, clean the kitchen and maintain daily checklists and temperature logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
