Job summary

Hy-Vee in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Breakfast Cook to start the day with energy and care for our Market Grille team. You will prep ingredients, assemble breakfast dishes, and ensure accuracy and speed from the first shift through the morning rush.

You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain high standards of food quality and sanitation, and collaborate with coworkers to deliver friendly service and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and making every interaction a positive one.
• Prepare cooking surfaces and ready the kitchen for service.
• Prepare vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast items according to recipes and specifications.
• Place food in hot cases, monitor amounts, and refill as necessary throughout your shift.
• Maintain sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
