Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Bettendorf is seeking a dependable part-time Barista to cover Thursday and Sunday morning breakfast shifts. You will greet guests, prepare and upsell beverages and breakfast items, and explain menu options.

You will work with the hotel’s food and beverage team, ensure accurate cash handling, close shift reports, and be eligible for growth opportunities such as cross-training as a bartender.

Qualifications

• Part-time availability on Thursday and Sunday morning shifts.
• Experience handling beverages and food items is preferred.
• Ability to explain menu items and upsell where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Informs guests of specials and suggests beverages and food options.
• Observes guests and fulfills additional requests, maintaining satisfaction.
• Works as a team with staff to ensure smooth dining room operations.
• Runs end-of-shift reports, handles deposits, and records tips accurately.
