Job summary

Modus Hotels in Vienna, VA is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to prepare and serve the daily complimentary breakfast and warmly greet guests. You’ll ensure the breakfast area is inviting, stocked, and clean, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Key duties include setting up the breakfast bar, taking inventory, replenishing items, assisting guests with requests, and maintaining a professional, team-oriented presence during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and be on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast bar in an attractive, standardized and full-looking manner. Keep area organized and clean, and replenish depleted items
• Take inventory of food and beverage and supplies needed for each day. Order or purchase food supplies.
• Prepare various food items as needed.
• Set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products.
• Clear and clean vacated tables.
• Wash equipment and return it to storage. Return reusable food to storage.
• Respond to all guest requests for additional breakfast items, hotel information, directions, and any other assistance.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
