We are currently seeking a
Breakfast / Banquet Cook

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned)

  • Stocking and maintaining designated station(s).
  • Preparing food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
  • Inspecting all food sent from the kitchen visually.
  • Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Preparing requisitions for food and supplies, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Three or more years of experience in hospitality food preparation is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Kansas City Food Handler permit is required.
ABILITIES
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of menu and all food products.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to make continuous and repetitive arm-hand movements (i.e. slicing or chopping food).
  • Ability to bend or stoop repeatedly during the shift (i.e. removing items from stoves, ovens and refrigerators).
  • Ability to lift and carry between 20-50 lbs over short distances (20 feet or less).
COMPENSATION
  • $17.00 - $20.00 per hour starting pay.
  • $500 bonus after your first 90 days.
