Residence Inn Abilene is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to greet guests, set up the breakfast area, and maintain cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will work with a team to ensure every guest experiences friendly service, accurate checklists, and smooth breakfast operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to Follow Guidelines: Must follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Handle Pace and Pressure: Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Listening, Conflict Resolution: Must be effective at listening, understanding, clarifying and resolving concerns.
• Communication Skills: Must convey information clearly.
• Hospitality and Guest Service: Must have a desire to serve all guests.
• Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Schedule and Travel: Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Clock-in/Out: Arrive on time and clock out as scheduled.
• Breaks: Clock in/out for breaks as scheduled.
• Call Outs: Provide sufficient notice when calling out.

Responsibilities

• Table Manicure: Clear and sanitize breakfast room tables after each guest departure.
• Consistent Set-up: Breakfast buffet area prepared each morning according to hotel/brand directives.
• Kitchen Checklist: Kitchen fully cleaned per daily checklist after breakfast period.
• Food Safety: Follow daily local health codes and approved breakfast standards.
• Buffet Management: Keep buffet area stocked and clean through the breakfast period.
