Job description

Overview

This part-time morning position involves interacting one-on-one with guests, taking their orders, preparing beverages according to company standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will maintain an issued cash bank during your shift and actively promote the establishment through social media outreach and staff events. This role supports the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Compensation: $16/hr - $17/hr

Responsibilities

  1. Follow Food & Beverage service procedures as standardized by venue management.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge and selling techniques for both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, maintaining the bar's cleanliness and appearance.
  3. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly with a sense of urgency.
  4. Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring proper operation per company and health department policies.
  5. Collaborate effectively with management and staff to address guest needs and resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
  • Basic math skills and calculator use.
  • Must be 21 years or older and possess Tips and Food Handlers cards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in boutique hotels is strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and move efficiently for up to 6 hours.
  • Lift 15-40 lbs regularly.
  • Perform tasks involving walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching.
  • Operate office equipment with finger dexterity.
