Overview

The Breakfast Attendant provides exceptional service to hotel guests in the breakfast area, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests courteously and seat them promptly.
  2. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of menus and service areas.
  3. Clear, clean, and reset tables and spaces as needed.
  4. Stock and organize service areas, complete side work.
  5. Handle guest requests and communicate with other departments regarding VIPs.
  6. Support beverage and food service, including dishwashing, restocking, and cleaning.
  7. Know standards for room service and menu items.
  8. Manage cashiering duties and shift procedures.
  9. Answer guest questions about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
  10. Produce high-quality drinks as required.
Qualifications
  1. Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job performance.
  2. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  3. Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  4. Legal age to serve alcohol and pass responsible serving training.
  5. Ability to obtain Food Handlers card.
  6. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  7. Good communication skills and guest service orientation.
  8. Basic knowledge of food and beverage standards and guest relations.
  9. Numerical ability for basic operations.
  10. Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions.
