Job summary

Westmont Hospitality Group is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to service the complimentary breakfast and assist with kitchen duties. The role includes stocking stations, cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining health standards.

Responsibilities include operating beverage equipment, adapting to a flexible schedule (including weekends/holidays), and supporting other kitchen staff while following all safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock and cleanliness of workstation, including storage rooms and kitchen.
• Cleaning and help with dishes.
• Transport all dirty tableware to dish washing area for proper cleaning.
• Perform general/routine cleaning tasking using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by Supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
• All team members must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Perform any related duties as requested by management.
• Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Clean and dry floors to avoid slip/fall accidents.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
• Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to management.
• Perform any related duties as requested by management.
• Assists other Kitchen Personnel when need.
• Flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays, variations in shift days
• Availability: All team members are expected to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment, e.g., coffee maker.
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.
• Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shift.
• Ability to lift and move multiple tables and chairs and podiums weighing up to 20 lbs. This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry, push, and pull goods on hand cart weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
