Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Harrison Newark Riverwalk in Harrison, NJ is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain the hotel’s breakfast quality standards. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving made-to-order items in the breakfast area and acting as a reference point for guests throughout service.

The role requires flexible scheduling and a strong safety and cleanliness mindset.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
• Ability to work well in stressful situations
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service

Responsibilities

• Cooking and assembling the breakfast service before mealtime and disassembling it thereafter
• Ensuring the breakfast service space remains well-stocked at all times
• Clearing cutlery and crockery from customers' tables
• Receiving beverage orders and directing them to the kitchen, as needed
• Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors
• Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each meal service
• Ensuring a wonderful experience from beginning to end while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
