Job summary

The Whitefish Riverfront Hotel, part of Averill Hospitality, is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to jump-start our guests' day by maintaining a smooth, welcoming breakfast operation. This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with a $20 hourly wage.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down breakfast spaces, ensuring cleanliness, and delivering friendly, service-oriented guest experiences each morning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food and beverage items according to hotel standards.
• Monitor food and beverage levels throughout service and replenish as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including wiping tables, restocking utensils, and ensuring food safety standards.
• Monitor food temperatures and presentation to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
• Clean up breakfast area at the end of service, including sanitizing surfaces, disposing of trash, and storing items properly.
• Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to management.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
