Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an entry-level team member for a counter service restaurant setting in Missouri. You will provide prompt, hospitable service to guests, assist in food preparation, and keep the outlet clean to ensure a lasting guest experience.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety and sanitation guidelines. This is a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Handlers Card and Smart Serve alcohol certification (we supply if not applicable).
• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate(s) or License(s): Food Handlers Card and Smart Serv alcohol (we supply if not applicable)
• Years of experience: 0

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.

Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.

Seldom/Never sits.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

• Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
