Position Overview

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests in the complimentary breakfast area, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience.

Responsibilities

1. Greet and seat guests promptly, maintaining a friendly and courteous manner.
2. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, service stations, and equipment.
3. Support food and beverage service, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing beverages.
4. Handle guest requests and special accommodations professionally.
5. Communicate effectively with other departments regarding VIP guests and special needs.
6. Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
7. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and hotel standards.
8. Process cashiering duties accurately at shift end.
9. Answer guest inquiries about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Legal age to serve alcohol and ability to obtain required permits (e.g., Food Handlers card).
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and guest relations.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to perform basic math and understand instructions clearly.
