Job summary

Primrose School of Arrowhead is seeking a dependable Breaker/Floater Assistant to support classrooms, teachers, and students in a full-time, Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM role. You’ll assist with daily activities, transitions, meals, and nap times, fostering a safe, nurturing environment.

Requirements include at least 6 months of childcare experience, Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and a Food Handler's Card within the required timeframe.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of childcare experience.
• Must be able to obtain CPR & First Aid certification within employment timeframe.
• Must obtain a Food Handler's Card within employment timeframe.
• Must have Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage and support throughout the day.
• Assist teachers with daily activities, routines, and transitions.
• Support children in a safe, nurturing, and age-appropriate manner.
• Assist with meals, snacks, diapering/toileting, nap time, and other daily routines.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development.
• Work with multiple classrooms and age groups as needed.
• Follow Primrose Schools' curriculum, policies, and procedures.

Primrose School of Arrowhead is looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Breaker/Floater Assistant to join our team! This is a full-time position with a 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday schedule.

Our Breaker/Floater Assistants play an important role in supporting our classrooms, teachers, and students throughout the day. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, nurturing, and passionate about creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children.

What You'll Do

• Provide classroom coverage and support throughout the day

• Must obtain CPR & First Aid certification within the required timeframe of employment
• Must obtain a Food Handler's Card within the required timeframe of employment
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and employment documentation in a timely manner
