• We have openings for full-time and part-time BREAK ROOM ATTENDANT positions.
• Location: Longwood Gardens - 1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full and part-time schedules. Days and hours may vary. Must be able to work day shifts, weekdays, and some weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Kitchen experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
• Additional Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Break Room Attendant supports our culinary team by maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked break room, ensuring it remains welcoming and functional. They may assist with light food prep and service setup as needed.

Job Summary

Summary: Learns to assist in food preparation and cooking, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

• Reads menu to estimate food requirements, orders or procures ingredients.
• Prepares and cooks food according to recipes and standards.
• Adjusts oven and equipment controls as needed.
• Measures, mixes, and cooks ingredients, adding seasonings under supervision.
• Tests food for quality, carves, portions, and garnishes dishes.
• Prepares fruits and vegetables, butchers seafood and poultry, bakes bread and pastries.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards.
• Interacts courteously with customers and coworkers.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and performs other duties as assigned.
