You will ensure total alignment of the IQ workgroup structure in order to fulfill the Company mission statement. Responsible for break-bulk operations at designated Service Center.Maintain superior customer service and is responsible for achieving outstanding customer satisfaction in all areas, including but not limited to, transit time, claims, and accounting. Establish necessary control to ensure that outbound trailers are closed at agreed upon times and Linehaul Schedule are upheld. Maintain responsibility and accountability for the integrity of loads originating at the Service Center, and is committed to Continuous Measurable Improvement which includes: adherence to load plan, physical composition of the load, Less Than Truckload (LTL) load average, and opportunities to load direct units. Maintain accountability for the application of the Quality Improvement Process (QIP) to include: people and customer focus, Quality Advancement Plan (QAP), team structure and participation, formalized process improvement, and leadership commitment. Communicate effectively with Outbound, Inbound, and Pickup & Delivery (P&D) Supervisors to determine customer requirements and work load assessments daily. Communicate with other supervision by providing the location and tally of any distressed freight and the documentation of available empty equipment. Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of all Service Center measurements. Accountable for producing excellent Thompson efficiencies in platform operations. Ensure all platform-related QAP measurements are stable, capable, and producing CMI through the effective use of process improvement. Improve the QAP productivity measurements by ensuring that written break-bulk dock and yard layouts and crewing issues are evaluated and improved regularly. Implement, monitor, and perpetuate a preventative maintenance program in accordance with Maintenance Department specifications in order to operate the fleet with established expectations.
