Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the production sheets; assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards and using proper equipment.
• Assist with production records including waste tracking and shortages; inform supervisor when supplies are low.
• Ensure proper presentation, food quality, and portion control; maintain serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and workstation.
• Handle food items safely in accordance with safety regulations during preparation and service.
• Clean equipment and workstation; keep display equipment clean.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain ability to work during peak production calmly and efficiently.
• Check that all food is presented and served per standards.
• Follow sanitation and safety regulations; comply with OSHA standards.
• Complete shifts on time; perform other duties as assigned.
