Position Summary

As the Baker, you are responsible for assisting in the operation and production of the bakery section of the kitchen.

You will be responsible for creating high-quality products following Bern's Steak House standard recipes while maintaining quality standards and consistency. Assist in producing high-volume demands.

Baker Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the bakery section.
  • Prepare a variety of baked goods such as breads, rolls, muffins, laminated Danish, croissants, and doughnuts.
  • Ensure excellent quality of products.
  • Follow proper handling and temperature controls for all food products.
  • Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to meet standards.
  • Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or unsafe practices immediately to the supervisor.
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings.
Qualifications and Skills

Experience

Minimum 2 years of high-volume baking experience. A degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required.
