Job summary

Methode Electronics Inc. seeks an experienced brazing technician to set up and operate furnace, torch, and induction brazing equipment, ensuring adherence to NADCAP processes. The role requires reading blueprints with GD&T, precise measurement, and maintaining quality throughout production.

Your responsibilities include programming equipment for new products, performing changeovers, and completing NADCAP travelers, while keeping safe, clean work areas and adhering to PPE rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years setting up/operating brazing equipment (furnace/torch/induction).
• Current NADCAP brazing certification, or ability to obtain and maintain.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings with GD&T.
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine set-up/changeover on brazing equipment to meet product specs.
• Program, profile, and adjust furnace/atmosphere/cycle times for new products.
• Operate brazing equipment to achieve production and quality goals.
• Inspect outputs with calipers/micrometers and verify workmanship.
• Complete NADCAP process documentation and travelers.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow PPE and safety rules.
