We have an opportunity for a skilled brazer to to make an impact with a highly skilled and collaborative team. You should be an expert in Oxygen/Acetylene brazing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You are a subject matter expert on the brazing done at the Collins Aerospace Burnsville facility.
Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and other written instructions
Operate brazing torch, hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment.
Perform quality work checks, identifies product defects, and records identified defects.
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures setting the example for trainees of uncompromising quality and safety.
Overtime available on a business need basis.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
2+ years of experience brazing.
Welding and/or potting experience to support lower-volumebuild production
Collins Certified Braze Trainer
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
Occupational experience four full-time years of experience in brazing.
Proficiency reading Blueprints.
Ability to collaborate with operators, engineers and technicians.
Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early, and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels to mitigate risk and resolve challenges.

The salary range for this role is $44,475 - $83,414. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
