Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical schooling a plus.
• 3–5 years experience in Brazing Processes (or similar).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and understand new processes, machines and technology.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts, overtime.
• Able to stand and be mobile for 8 hours.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and read orders.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Math skills appropriate to a machining environment.
• Able to read product prints and check product to match.
• Proficient in the use of measuring devices.
• Setup machine using basic hand tools and measuring devices.
• Identify and assess common problems with machine, trouble-shooting.
• Read and follow standard operating and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the startup and implementation of the production operation at the Lincolnton, NC facility.
• Learn first-hand the process and help develop local work instructions and standards.
• Actively communicate with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, etc.
• Train and monitor new production associates on the shift and provide timely feedback.
• Load/unload, operate, adjust, change-over, maintain multiple machines, conduct 5S and aid in troubleshooting.
