American StaffCorp is hiring a Brazer's Assistant for an immediate opening in a manufacturing facility located on Britton Road in Oklahoma City. No brazing experience is required and training will be provided.

The role involves assisting with preparation, assembly, and initial testing of copper piping systems used in medical equipment for hospitals. The position offers a 1st shift (Mon-Fri) from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• No brazing experience required – training provided.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable with hands-on manufacturing tasks and use of tools.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut copper tubing to specifications.
• Assist with preparing copper pipes and fittings for assembly.
• Remove rough edges and clean materials before assembly.
• Organize and prepare parts for brazing department.
• Assist with basic inspections and pressure testing of assemblies.
• Label and prepare finished products per instructions.
• Follow work orders and drawings from department lead.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
• Assist with additional production tasks as needed.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who can accurately read a tape measure and is interested in learning new manufacturing skills. This position involves assisting with the preparation, assembly, and initial testing of copper piping systems used in medical equipment for hospitals. Training will be provided on the equipment, processes, and job responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable using tools, and wants to develop skills in a specialized manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and tools.
