Anthropic is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the team building and running anthropic.com and claude.com, brand web surfaces where most of the world meets Claude and Anthropic for the first time. They carry our research, product launches, policy work, and brand, and they ship at the pace of a fast-moving company.

You’ll manage a small, senior team of web engineers, owning the full stack behind our marketing web: CMS architecture, the publishing pipeline, the design system in code, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years as an engineering manager in marketing, brand, or design engineering.
• Led a high-traffic marketing or brand web surface end to end: CMS, frontend, infra, and publishing.
• Strong frontend depth: TypeScript, React, modern CSS, and a headless CMS.
• Built tooling that empowered non-engineers to work faster and safer.
• Shipped under launch pressure with cross-functional partners while keeping quality.
• Able to operate at the intersection of Design, Marketing and Engineering.
• Strong interest in AI and Claude integration into build/publish workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the team: coach, hire, and set craft/reliability standards.
• Own the technical roadmap for anthropic.com and claude.com: CMS, publishing, SEO, localization.
• Run launch engineering for model, product, and campaign moments with tight timelines.
• Build the brand tooling layer: internal tools and Claude-in-the-loop workflows.
• Collaborate with design, editorial, marketing, and product growth engineering.
• Align web engineering with brand/business goals and say no to non-movers.
