Job summary

Aquent Studios is seeking a skilled visual/brand designer to join a small embedded team in San Diego. You’ll contribute to design systems, typography, and visual identity for a global technology brand and its sub-brands, delivering on-brand assets across campaigns and touchpoints.

With 3–6 years of experience, you’ll craft consistent typography, layouts, and visual language, collaborate closely with the Creative Director, and help maintain asset libraries and guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in visual or brand design.
• Strong typography and layout skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working with design systems and brand guidelines.
• Proficient with photography direction, cropping, and basic retouching.
• Portfolio demonstrating range across brand touchpoints.
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design within and maintain the brand’s design systems across projects.
• Produce visuals, assets, templates, and collateral for master and sub-brands.
• Collaborate with photographers on direction and editing.
• Translate creative direction into polished on-brand executions.
• Build templates and asset libraries for organization.
• Collaborate with fellow designers and incorporate feedback.
• Stay current on typography and layout trends for the brand.
• Contribute to breakthrough campaigns and storytelling.
