Job summary

Aquent Studios is seeking a Creative Director, Brand to lead a high-caliber team embedded with our client. You will steward design systems, visual identity, typography, and photography direction to ensure cohesion across a multi-brand portfolio.

You will mentor designers, guide brand integrity, and align creative output with business and product goals while presenting directions to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in brand and creative leadership with team management experience.
• Expert in design systems across multiple brand touchpoints.
• Strong visual identity skills: typography, grids, color theory.
• Experience directing photography for in-house or agency partners.
• Robust portfolio showing brand systems thinking.
• Proven ability to mentor a small design team.
• Experience with interconnected brand architectures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of brand and visual designers, setting direction and reviewing work.
• Own and evolve comprehensive design systems across brand and sub-brands.
• Guard visual identity, typography, color, and layout systems.
• Direct photography and visual development from briefs to final assets.
• Collaborate with marketing and brand stakeholders to support goals.
• Present design direction and defend decisions to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure brand consistency across a portfolio of related brands.
