Story is hiring a Brand Strategist to shape how Story and our clients tell their stories. You’ll develop positioning, messaging, and narrative strategy for deep tech and science, turning complex ideas into clear and compelling narratives.

You’ll work closely with senior strategy, creative, and client teams to carry that thinking into the work people actually see. Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Experience in brand strategy, communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex subject matter into clear narratives.
• Organization and follow-through across multiple client accounts.
• Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate.
• Degrees not required. Your work speaks for itself.

Responsabilités

• Develop brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and narrative strategy for client accounts.
• Conduct research and discovery to understand audiences, markets, and business challenges.
• Turn findings into clear recommendations and creative direction.
• Partner with writers, designers, and directors to bring the strategy into the finished work.
• Contribute to new business pitches and proposals.
• Help maintain and evolve Story’s own brand voice.
