Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Brand Manager who will lead store teams and manage all aspects of the store with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will act as a brand ambassador, guiding high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment and aligning with growth opportunities.

The role involves talent acquisition, developing staff, coordinating with Clinical services, and ensuring timely delivery of eyewear while upholding brand standards. A strong retail background and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of store management experience.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred by state law.
• Demonstrated leadership with at least three years in fast-paced retail.
• Strong communication with diverse teams.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.
• Knowledge of talent acquisition, development and HR processes.
• Flexible scheduling based on business needs.
• MS Word/MS Office proficiency.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store talent acquisition and development; recruit, train, and plan for store staff.
• Build strong partnership with Clinical services.
• Analyze reports to ensure staff achieve goals.
• Communicate with Support Center and HR.
• Perform basic customer repairs and lens edging for timely delivery.
• Ensure brand standards in the lab area and report equipment issues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead store talent acquisition and talent development; including but not limited to direct recruiting, partnership with Recruiting Department, training new team members and ongoing development plans for store associates.
• Building strong partnership with Clinical services.
• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to ensure all staff members are achieving desired goals.
• Communicates effectively and builds a strong partnership with the Support Center and Human Resources.
• Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery of eyeglasses, and ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Ensure brand standards are met in the lab area, and notify management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, incorrect lenses, etc.

Key Qualifications

• You have an associate's degree or 2 years of store management experience.
• Having a valid ABO/NCLE Certification as required by state law is preferred.
• You have demonstrated leadership ability with at least three years of experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• You have the skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• You have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
• You’re knowledgeable on talent acquisition, talent development and HR processes.
• Do you have schedule flexibility? Work hours will be determined based on business needs
• Are you knowledgeable about MS Word, MS Office etc?
• Optical experience is a plus.
