• Proven experience managing social media for a brand with platform nuances.
• Portfolio showing concise, engaging, and often humorous social copy.
• Natural instinct for current internet culture, trends, and authentic brand communication.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to simplify complex topics into social content.
• Self-driven and autonomous with initiative and minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own social media presence and define daily content strategy for X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube Community, Instagram, and Reddit.
• Translate Ahrefs' voice into platform-specific copy from witty to insightful.
• Stay current with social trends, platform changes, and emerging formats.
• Develop and curate original social content from news, product updates, and cultural moments.
• Repurpose long-form content into concise social-first formats for maximum reach.
• Experiment with new content types, hooks, cadences, and storytelling approaches.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to align social messaging with campaigns.
• Monitor performance metrics and adapt strategies based on engagement.
