Job summary

ThirdChannel is seeking a freelance Brand Representative to conduct in-store wireless audits, merchandising, and quality checks as a 1099 contractor. You will serve as the liaison between the brand and retail stores, performing scheduled one-hour visits twice per month across assigned locations.

Visits are flexible with immediate start dates upon certification. Successful candidates will ensure accurate audits, strong brand visibility, and a well-maintained store presence using the ThirdChannel

Qualifications

• Must be friendly, engaging with excellent relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail, highly professional and reliable.
• Tech-savvy with comfort navigating mobile reporting tools.
• Reliable transportation to travel to local retail locations.
• Access to a personal smart device with internet (iOS 17+ or Android 10+).
• Experience in wireless, telecom, or consumer electronics retail is a plus.
• Must complete the Brand Rep Certification before starting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-store audits and quality control visits.
• Evaluate product presentation and brand visibility during visits.
• Perform follow-up visits to resolve issues and transition to merchandising.

About the Role

ThirdChannel is hiring a 1099 Brand Representative to conduct in-store retail audits, merchandising, and quality control visits in support of a leading wireless and connectivity brand. As an independent Brand Representative, you will act as a key liaison between the brand and retail store environments, conducting recurring in-store visits to perform audits, ensure product quality, and elevate the brand experience.

Store visits run one hour and are scheduled twice per month, with total store count varying by market. This is a highly flexible, supplemental income opportunity, with immediate start dates available upon certification. Success looks like accurate, on-time audits, strong brand visibility, and a well-maintained presence across your assigned retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Retail Audits & Quality Control

Execute structured store visits on a recurring basis to evaluate product presentation, brand visibility, and overall store conditions.

• Visit Execution

Each initial visit begins with an audit, moves into follow-up visits to resolve issues, and transitions into visual merchandising as the year progresses.

• Display & Merchandising Fixes

Assist retail staff in resolving brand or display issues on the sales floor.

• Technology & Reporting

Use the ThirdChannel App to navigate visits, complete surveys, and submit real-time data and photos.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive starting pay of $24 per hour, based on relevant experience and market conditions.
• Additional travel incentive added to every store visit.
