Our client, a notable, established brand with Headquarters based in Los Angeles, is seeking a dynamic, effective, transformative President to run an existing women’s $100 million business and create the strategy for growth to incrementally double the business in the next few years. Will also lead the company’s strategic evolution across direct-to-consumer, international markets, and licensing.
This is an opportunity to take an established brand with strong foundations and customer recognition and propel it to new heights through bold leadership, creative energy, and operational discipline. The President will set and execute the vision for the next stage of growth. This leader will drive expansion in digital and retail channels, optimize wholesale partnerships, explore new international and licensing opportunities, and build a high-performance, brand-driven culture.
Partnering closely with ownership and senior retail leadership, the President will shape the brand into a more agile, consumer-centric, and digitally sophisticated business. The role is based in Los Angeles with the client prepared to offer money to offset the cost of a move if the candidate is not currently based there.
The salary range for this role is $350,000-$450,000 plus bonus.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Define and execute a clear strategy to scale revenue, with balanced growth across wholesale / department store, direct-to-consumer, and new markets.
- Direct-to-Consumer & Retail Expansion: Grow DTC, advancing eCommerce, CRM, and digital marketing capabilities.
- International & Licensing Growth: Identify and pursue new global markets, distributor partnerships, and licensing models.
- Wholesale Optimization: Strengthen key retail relationships and launch innovative programs to drive sell-through and elevate brand visibility.
- Operational & Product Excellence: Align product design, sourcing, and operations to ensure margin expansion, speed-to-market, and innovation.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and agility.
Brand Stewardship: Elevate brand identity and consumer engagement through impactful storytelling, insights-driven marketing, and cohesive omni-channel experiences.
Required Qualifications: Skills and Experience
- 15+ years of senior executive leadership in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands.
- Proven success scaling a $100M+ business into significant growth.
- Elevated taste level with experience working in bridge or advanced contemporary markets.
- Expertise in wholesale and DTC models, with strong digital acumen.
- Well-developed eye for Product.
- Experience working with a Creative Director to refine and drive constant brand and product improvement.
- Background in international expansion and licensing a plus.
