Boulder Crossing Health & Rehabilitation is a brand-new 96-bed skilled nursing facility seeking a full-time Cook to prepare nutritious meals and provide a positive dining experience for residents in a modern kitchen.

The role emphasizes following recipes, ensuring safety and sanitation, and collaborating with the dietary team to meet residents’ dietary needs while delivering excellent service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, organized and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious, appetizing meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion control procedures.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and in accordance with sanitation and infection control standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Assist with food preparation, storage, inventory, and kitchen sanitation.
• Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and healthcare team to meet residents’ dietary needs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, families, and team members.
