About the role

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring continued utilization of K1 products. Fully remote but MUST live in the Eastern or Central time zone.
  • $115k base salary, bonus, 401k and stock options round out the comp plan.
  • MUST have 3+ years of SaaS AM/Sales experience in the tax and or accounting software space.
  • Lead negotiations and support the close of renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Previous experience working in a startup environment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate conversations around value, over features and functions.
  • Possess a technical aptitude to position the benefits of our products

Who We Are:

Our technology is used by the nation’s largest institutional investors, funds, and accounting firms, by bringing long-established solutions that are creating an all-digital K-1 experience. Our goal is to transform the K-1 industry by moving a traditionally PDF-based process to an all-digital experience via our software solutions. Join us at the start of something exciting!

Your Role:

As a Client Success Manager, you will be the key point of contact for our clients, managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, with a primary focus on securing renewals and identifying revenue expansion opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly sales, client success, and product, to solve complex client challenges, mitigate client risks, drive client renewals, and identify opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring continued utilization of K1 products
  • Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts, working closely with finance, sales, client success, and operations teams
  • Monitor account health metrics and revenue indicators to predict and prevent potential churn
  • Lead negotiations and support the close of renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and act on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze client data in collaboration with the client success team to ensure
  • optimal usage and additional product engagement of the platform.
  • It's Truly a Match If You Have:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Account Management or Sales roles.
  • Previous experience working in a startup environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in financial technology or enterprise-level tech companies.
  • Strong experience with client success software such as Gainsight and Hubspot.
  • Proven experience with deal-making, negotiations, and managing client relationships in a
  • Ability to solve complex problems and provide data-driven insights.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools, CRMs, or client reporting systems.
  • A growth mindset with a drive to advance in your career and adapt in a fast- growing
  • company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key
  • stakeholders.
