Job summary

Visit California is seeking a student assistant to work as a Brand Marketing Intern. The student assistant will support the brand team in managing global consumer and rural marketing programs, tracking campaign performance, reviewing creative assets, preparing reports, and assisting with meeting prep for Brand & Content, Rural, and Snow committees.

The student assistant will report to the Brand Marketing Coordinator.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented office environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Google Workspace; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Support Rural Region and Partnership Meetings with scheduling and notes.
Assist with program reporting and identify partnership opportunities.
Create and refine slide decks and materials for meetings (Board, Brand & Content, Rural Region, Snow Committees, and Industry).
Oversee the collection and tracking of brand and media partnership assets.
Assist in building outreach lists for industry communications and proofread materials.
