Job summary

NBH Bank is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support a broad range of marketing and communications tasks. You will maintain a weekly project status report, thoroughly proofread communications, and publish content on the website, intranet, and social channels.

You will conduct secondary research on financial topics to aid competitive brand tracking, disseminate information across the organization, manage the internal marketing inbox, and assist with invoices and budgeting while monitoring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field (or up to 2 years’ marketing experience).
  • Strong written and verbal communication and editing skills.
  • Experience with digital content and CMS platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a weekly project status report and calendar for the marketing team.
  • Proofread internal and external communications.
  • Publish content on the company website, intranet, and social channels.
  • Conduct secondary research on financial topics to support brand tracking.
  • Disseminate marketing information across the organization.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will perform a wide range of marketing and communication tasks. You will be responsible for assisting in maintenance of a weekly project status report and calendar that allows the marketing team to effectively and efficiently track and communicate status of all active marketing projects, thoroughly proofread internal and external communications, and assist in gathering and publishing content on company website, intranet, and social media channels. You will conduct secondary research on financial or banking topics to aid in competitive brand tracking, understanding of client insight, and assist with the dissemination of marketing information throughout the organization via appropriate channels. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator manages the internal Marketing email inbox to support our teammates across the organization in their goals to grow deposits, loans, and fee income. You will also be responsible for submitting invoices and keeping track of our budgeted expenses. You will assist in monitoring our websites ensuring links are working, correcting any spelling errors and updating content as directed. You will also monitor company social media pages and provide regular reporting on page activity to leadership, maintain knowledge of current technologies and social trends and make recommendations for improvements/advancements. You will also work to build rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field, or up to 2 years of relevant job experience in marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, and editing experience, which includes an aptitude for grammar, style and business writing.
Desired Qualifications:

To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:

  • Relevant job experience in marketing, social media, or graphic design.
  • Basic knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • InDesign and Photoshop program experience.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms for website editing and publishing content.
