Job summary

Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. is seeking a Retail Marketing Brand Maintenance Specialist to repair fuel island materials and inside-store items, with painting duties and ability to use power tools. The role requires frequent travel and physical work including climbing and lifting.

The successful candidate will maintain image standards at customer locations and respond to supervisor guidance. Experience with power washers, painting, and yard maintenance equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, climb, and work in various positions.
• Ability to work from ladders and at elevated heights safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle as assigned.
• Carry, move, and maneuver tools and equipment including power washers and paint supplies.
• Use power washers, striping machines, and painting equipment to maintain facilities.
• Paint bumper poles, curbs, parking lines, and other surfaces as needed.
• Climb ladders to access equipment more than 10 feet high.
• Travel frequently as required, including long-distance trips.

Job description

Valley Pacific is looking for a Retail Marketing Brand Maintenance Specialist who can repair fuel island materials (point-of-sale units, spanners, sprinkler systems, bumper poles, etc.) and inside-store items (ceiling tiles, bathroom mirrors, sinks, etc.). Painting skills required. Ability to use a power washer, leaf blower, striping machines, and other yard maintenance tools and equipment is required.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a company vehicle as assigned, which may include a commercial van or, in some circumstances, a truck and trailer.Carry, move, and maneuver tools and equipment, including 4,000 PSI power washers, striping machines, five-gallon paint buckets, hoses, ladders, and other maintenance equipment.Safely operate a 4,000 PSI power washer, including handling the equipment and hose while cleaning structures and surfaces at ground level and overhead.Use paint rollers and other painting equipment to paint walls and ceilings that may be more than 16 feet above ground level.Paint bumper poles, curbs, parking lines, and other ground-level surfaces, frequently bending, squatting, kneeling, and working in various positions.Safely climb and work from ladders to reach the tops of fuel dispensers and other equipment that may be more than 10 feet above ground level.Operate and carry a leaf blower to clean parking lots, sidewalks, landscaped areas, and other portions of customer locations.Travel frequently as required, including assignments that may involve travel of more than 300 miles one way and extended periods away from the employee’s home location.Perform maintenance and cleaning duties indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions at customer locations.Communicate regularly with the supervisor, provide updates on assigned work, and respond promptly to phone calls and emails.Prioritize and schedule assigned work on a weekly and monthly basis, keep appointments, and meet deadlines.Help customers surpass image standards through thorough maintenance and cleaning, while keeping tools and materials organizedQualifications & SkillsMeet the company’s requirements to safely operate the vehicles assigned to the position.Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and position equipment and materials weighing more than 50 pounds.Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, climb, and work in various positions while performing maintenance and cleaning activities.Ability to safely handle heavy tools and equipment and perform assigned work from ladders and at elevated heights.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and work independently.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and customers.Maintain a professional appearance, communicate respectfully, and demonstrate professional conduct at customer locations.Compensation and Benefits:Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.401(k) with Company Match to support your future.Paid Time Off (PTO) and additional benefitsAll offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug and background screen.Valley Pacific participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm authorization to work in the United States.Valley Pacific is an equal opportunity employer.
