Job summary

NANA North, LLC is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead marketing and internal communications across our Alaska-based operations. You’ll craft campaigns, manage content, and support branding across multiple brands, while coordinating events and sponsorships.

The role emphasizes strong writing, organization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience with social media and content creation is a plus, with travel up to 10% within Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4-6 years of experience in marketing and strategic communications roles.
• Experience managing multiple social media accounts for one or more brands.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past 3 years.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable using social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Email & Internal Communications: manage internal communications and prepare strategic email campaigns.
• Content Creation & Management: develop and edit marketing materials and intranet content.
• Business Collateral Production: ensure brand standards in design, production, delivery.
• Marketing Campaign & Event Support: plan campaigns and coordinate sponsorship logistics.
• Social Media Engagement: manage content, calendars, paid campaigns, and reporting.
• Digital Asset Management: upload, tag, and manage assets and releases.
• Marketing Team Administrative Support: provide general admin support and vendor coordination.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: align strategies cross-functionally and improve workflows.
