Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced FP&A professional in Los Angeles to own budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. The role partners with Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain to deliver insights that drive disciplined budgeting and efficient resource allocation.

You will develop scenarios, build financial models, and advise senior leaders on opportunities and risks, ensuring timely reporting and strong financial controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of FP&A/related finance experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiar with AI-enabled productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances and provide actionable financial insights
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and maintain strong financial controls
• Own recurring planning cycles and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
• Improve financial planning, reporting and operational processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure disciplined budget and resource allocation
• Support internal controls, audits and corporate governance requirements
• Maintain appropriate financial documentation and support timely resolution of audit findings
• Partner with Marketing, Business Development, Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams
• Develop financial analyses and business cases for investments, product launches, marketing initiatives and cost-efficiency opportunities
• Translate financial data into clear recommendations for business leaders
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and proactively recommend action
• Support budgeting and financial oversight of marketing, creative and production-related initiatives
• Support strategic initiatives and special projects as business needs evolve
• Build financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and operational efficiency
