The Story House team is dedicated to delivering impactful experiences for our clients. Our work takes many forms, including local marketing, small pop-up events, large scale event productions, as well as lead generation, assisted selling and direct sales. Our team is looking for Brand Experts who will present, guide, trial and sell our client’s product to interested prospects in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our Brand Experts will engage with adults (21+) across a wide variety of meeting places, events, pop-up retail locations, bars and nightclubs. Our Brand Expert will also build and sustain a prospect network through their own personal relationships, professional network and community connections.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK / /
- Your local Fort Lauderdale, FL work environment will be dynamic and will include collaborative local shared workspaces, on premise meetings in bars, nightclubs, pop-up retail, special events and other social spaces where guided product trials are feasible and permitted. You will need a reliable car to travel across the city of Fort Lauderdale on a regular basis. Frequent nights and weekend work will be required of this position.
WHAT YOU’LL DO / /
- Through your own existing experience and The Story House provided research, develop an understanding around the city of Fort Lauderdale’s nightlife and social scene. Identify foot traffic trends and gather the best people and places to introduce our client’s product in Fort Lauderdale, FL This may include bars / nightclubs, outdoor meeting places, pop-up retail and special events.
- Monitor a list of prospects using an internal sales platform.
- Search for prospects in the Fort Lauderdale market who might be interested in converting to our client’s product (self-generated leads).
- Once trained, prepare a presentation of the brand and product.
- Introduce our product to existing adult nicotine users during calls and face-to-face meetings.
- Deliver an immersive educational experience and detailed product awareness.
- Offer face-to-face product trials, programs and services to support prospect understanding and adoption.
- Follow guidelines while calling on prospects regardless of prospect type (self-generated or indirect).
- Organize face-to-face meetings in public places with prospects to present our client’s product. Maintain client satisfaction, post-conversion, ensuring users overcome any difficulties and maintain their transition to a smoke-free alternative.
- Tailor support strategies to meet individual consumer challenges, helping to foster trust and positive brand perception.
- Address escalations quickly and efficiently, maintaining a consumer-first mindset throughout.
YOUR EXPERIENCE / /
- 5+ years of experience in nightlife marketing, including working with adult (21+) bars, clubs and restaurants.
- Some experience working in a retail sales environment using various systems and tools is a plus.
- Experience and comfort level working with nicotine products
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working and living in the immediate Fort Lauderdale Area.
- You prefer to meet with people live, in-person within a community across events, pop-up retail and social spaces vs. working in an office environment.

- Bilingual in Spanish and English candidates are preferred.
- Outgoing, high energy, people person.
- Understanding of regulations and attention to compliance requirements.
- Some consultative sales experience is a plus.
