You will balance strategic priorities with authentic leadership, delivering personalized shopping experiences, maintaining the brand aesthetic, and partnering with corporate to ensure assortment and visual standards across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Sets clear goals and expectations for the team with consistent performance feedback to monitor results
• Manage and monitor team morale & talent retention
• Provide clear feedback and regular coaching
• Foster team’s ongoing growth & development through training & on-the-job learning
• Communicate clearly with management to ensure staff are informed and involved
• Proactively recruit and retain staff at all levels to reflect market demographics and anticipate future business needs
• Lead by example to deliver transformational customer experiences
• Train and coach the team to maintain a productive selling environment
• Own the customer journey and tailor it to your store’s demographic and develop client relationships
• Support initiatives to grow clientele and increase repeat business
• Maintain the brand aesthetic across touch points, including presentation and merchandising
• Partner with Corporate Management to align assortment strategy with business needs
• Ensure the store is merchandised per visual guidelines
• Generate new ideas and apply an entrepreneurial spirit to improve the business
• Understand and adhere to all operational procedures and ensure efficient store operations
• Manage payroll, supplies and expenses in a business-focused manner
• Enforce people policies and process employee paperwork accurately
• Manage inventory movement and POS transactions
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness
• Implement loss prevention measures and procedures
• Holds self and team accountable for achieving financial targets
• Manage resources to maximize sales, traffic, floor coverage and engagement
• Analyze data and trends to identify issues and maximize performance
• Run the business with agility and continuous improvement
