Ascend is seeking a Brand Designer to own the brand expression, architecture, and visuals across product, marketing, and communications. You will collaborate with product and marketing to ensure consistency and impact across every touchpoint.

You will lead Altitude 2027 visuals, develop templates and toolkits, and help build a living brand system that scales with the company. Fintech/insurance familiarity is a plus; a strong portfolio is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in brand or visual design, ideally in-house.
• A portfolio showing you built or meaningfully evolved a brand system, not only executed against someone else.
• Art direction ability: you can build a vision from references, imagery, texture, and type, and show the thinking behind it, not just the finished pieces.
• Range across mediums: digital, print, environmental, and enough motion to bring things to life.
• Systems instincts: you know when to build a template, a pattern, or a tool instead of another one-off asset.
• Ownership: you run initiatives end to end, propose before you're asked, and can defend a decision or change your mind when the argument is better.
• Clear communication, written and spoken. You can explain why something works and why it doesn't.

Responsabilités

• Own Ascend’s brand expression and architecture as we grow.
• Partner with product and marketing; ensure the brand is present in product, web, email, decks, events, and print.
• Lead Altitude 2027 visual system and carry through to print materials and stage design.
• Build templates and toolkits to enable teams to produce on-brand work independently.
• Define brand architecture and how products, AI, events, and acquired brands relate to Ascend.
